For Christmas, I gave myself the best present ever. I dedicated the whole month of December to self-love and I went on my very first yoga retreat. After researching many different yoga retreats around the world, I chose Yoga Sutra Shala in the Valencian mountains, Spain. This was because of the delicious, organic plant-based meals, comfortable accommodation with ensuite bathrooms, the activities and the excellent reviews.
The experience completely exceeded my expectations and I was able to enjoy so much more than yoga and good food. There was also meditation, chanting, hikes, silent times and I even experienced my very first Kirtan.
